The f30 hk underseat is 8ohm. If your wife's hifi underseat is of lower resistance ie 4ohm, the stock hifi amp will struggle even more to push the hk. The main limiting factor to what the under seat woofers can do is the size of the enclosures, so a driver swap may have little to no effect.
