The Hybrid Virtuoso is DPS Mesmer build for end game PvE content in Guild Wars 2 with a safe and easy rotation which allows it to be one of the most reliable
Currently holosmith is the go-to choice for engi, having insane power dps in both sPvP and PvE. Holosmith is easily one of the best dps classes. Core engineer is not quite as good as it's elite counterpart, but then again anet wants you to buy their shit so no surprise there.
Potentially replacable with an elementalist. Ranger is used as a healer and support in high-end content but isn't necessary in easier content. Mesmer is used as a support/tank. Thief is technically the highest single-target DPS class at the moment. (Rankings here, in particular the small hitbox fight)
Virtuoso (Mesmer): Simple to play and offers excellent DPS for new players and veterans alike. Reaper (Necromancer): Insane burst damage and ease of rotation, making it a top pick for AoE encounters. Soul-Beast (Ranger): Solid DPS, easy rotation, and range capability for flexible gameplay.
You probably want to go Guardian then, It's got top choice builds in all game modes. Firebrand is the Meta Heal pick everywhere apart from PvP, For PvP you'd need to switch to the meta pick of Core Support Guard. 7. GFHeady • 1 yr. ago. Fun fact: I used to play Guardian around the game's release and when I returned a few months before EoD
Hi! Welcome to GW2! First, this is not a "trinity" game. No threat mechanics means no way for tanks to control enemy behavior = no tanks. We have healing abilities and even specializations designed for healing roles, but none of it approaches the level of dedicated healers from a trinity game because this game is simply not designed to support that.
