Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM – Performance. Some of Canon’s consumer-level RF lenses rely heavily on digital lens corrections, and this is one of them. Uncorrected, any images shot at the shortest 24mm focal length will have such strong barrel distortion that the corners of the image turn black.
At The-Digital-Picture.com the 'IQ Comparison' RF 24–105mm F4-7.1 IS STM compares quite well overall with the older 24-105mm f/4 L. I mainly shoot RAW and PP with DxO PhotoLab 5 Elite with DxO ViewPoint. Have not found many RF 24–105mm F4-7.1 IS STM sample RAW images to download/ PP. Cheers, Jon
