undo hose clamps (replace with normal fuel hose screw type) Undo clamp screw, remove/replace filter (some petrol will run out) Replace correct way around. (Loosen clamps a bit to let any crud in hose run out. before placing back on new filter) Turn on ignition to bleed system. Start engine. Check for leaks, stop engine.
On our project car, a 2000 SLK230 Kompressor, the lower panel is held in by a pair of 6mm-headed screws and various other Phillips screws. Mercedes-Benz also used T20 Torx screws to secure the lower panel in some models during this era.

Hi all. I have recently purchased a second hand E320 and i am now looking at a second hand SLK 230 Kompressor for my partner. It is a 1998 in Metallic blue. It has 130,000km (80,000) miles on the clock genuine and 3 owners from new. Could anyone tell me about this model please. I am new to Mercedes and all comments and advice would be appreciated.
