Skoda Superb estate L&K with a 2.0 TSI reported as using half a litre of oil in 2,800 miles. Actually not bad for this engine but could get worse. 28-03-2016: Excessive oil consumption reported from engine of 2011 Skoda Superb 4x4 1.8T Estate at 40,000 miles. Car has CDAA engine with history of piston oil ring and oil consumption problems. Fortunately, it's no less spacious. Just completed 1 year anniversary of my Superb L&K (2021 model). Covered 10500km. Few updates. Service: 1 year / 15k service done at Raja Skoda, Bangalore. Experience is positive. Service advisor did not push for any additional work. Net cost ZERO because of service package.

The Skoda’s predicted residual value is ever so slightly better; after three years or 36,000 miles, it’ll hold onto 49 per cent of its original value, while the C5 X will maintain 48.8 per Nice car loaded with best-in-class features, but I think the price is on the higher side compared to others.
